The IGEL mounting system is a new development for easy, ingenious installation of deckings. The complete system consists of the stainless steel double angle claws along with a special installation tool.

The IGEL mounting is invisible. The double angle claws, on the outside of the board, are set with a lever force using the installation tool. The result is constant joint space - without the use of any spacers.

Installation is easy with the use of the installation tool. Slightly warped boards can be easily secured with this tool. The IGEL mounting system is installed faster than any conventional screw joint. It's also faster than all other mounting systems currently available on the market. Pre-drilling and countersinking are no longer required. Through the special shape of the base plates the IGEL-mounting can be secured against warping with just one fastening screw. Due to the sharpness of the spikes the IGEL-mounting functions well using hard woods such as bangkirai or oak.

Wood preservation

The deckings benefit through the use of stainless steel. The baseplate of the mounting IGEL keeps an air space between sub-construction and covering. Thus protecting against any residual wetness! There are no screw heads to crack the wood, which means less wood rot.
